Synopsis
"The Prologue was especially written for this Production."
"The music for this Production is from Peter Warlock's Capriol Suite, based upon the Orchesographie of Arbeau published in 1589."
"The Fairy song in Scene IV has been adapted from the dance Pieds-en-l'air from the Capriol Suite. The Nuptial song in Scene IX was especially written for this Production by William France of Ottawa. Both of these songs have been recorded by the Tudor Singers, Director Robert Van Dine, to whom the grateful thanks for the Workshop are due" (qtd. from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare, Program).
