Adaptor 1 Biography
"Matthew MacFadzean is the creator of the company Nation of Aslan. The company brings together artists from a wide spectrum to collaborate on theatre productions, including richardthesecond, which won the juried prize at last year's Summerworks Festival. Matthew MacFadzean's proposal in his application for the Award included setting aside a portion of the money for fundraising efforts and dedicating a majority of the funds to a new multi-media production featuring DJs, a band, dancers, period costuming, and video and slide projection. In his application letter Matthew thanked "the anonymous donor for their kind generosity" (Chapman http://www.tarragontheatre.com/press.htm).
